Oak & Abbey Accessories

A couple of weeks ago I visited this amazing pop-up shop that featured uniquely fabulous, well-made, & affordable accessories…Oak & Abbey! I was personally invited by O&A’s owner Melise to check out her collection. You all know how I pride myself on originality and these pieces are surely that. While there I also met a young woman by the name of Khalilah who owns a vintage clothing boutique (KWeb Kollects Vintage) and operates out of New York. She was visiting Baltimore with a variety of pieces from her collection for this pop-up shop event. Although I was there to take photos and get details for blogging purposes I ended up purchasing a purple jumpsuit & a pair of gorgeous earrings. I have yet to wear the jumpsuit because I want to have it altered but I’ve worn the earrings several times and I’ve gotten great feedback. Be sure to check out the links above for more details. Loco 4 Leggings

Leggings have never really been considered a statement piece of clothing in my opinion however, most recently they have become more and more eye-catching. I saw a photo on Instagram of Love & Hip-Hop’s reality TV show star Emily B and it inspired me to do this post. Anyone who follows her knows that she wears the hell out of leggings. She’s very curvaceous and not everyone can pull off leggings with a cropped shirt…she does it well. TopShop is an awesome place to find the most current trends of clothing, shoes, and accessories. Stumblered Across Tumbler & Tipsy

I happened to stumble across this amazing jewelry collection by Tumbler & Tipsy created by professional skater Michael Kuluva. I immediately saw this creative and unique idea and fell in love. Every girl loves bling and glitter so to cover champagne bottle corks and fill miniature champagne bottles in Swarovski crystals was absolutely brilliant. This particular collection launches Spring/Summer 2012. Keep an eye out. AV
